Deaton for Senate Campaign Crosses Certified Signature Milestone

Woburn, MA – Today, the campaign of U.S. Marine veteran, attorney, cancer survivor, and author John Deaton (R-Swansea) reported that more than 12,000 signatures of unenrolled and Republican voters have been certified by municipal clerks, with thousands more expected. Candidates for United States Senate are required to obtain 10,000 certified signatures to appear on the ballot, meaning Deaton has more than surpassed expectations for a political outsider.

“We’re humbled to announce that John Deaton is the first candidate for United States Senate to announce amassing the necessary support to qualify for the ballot, and we are grateful to our supporters and volunteers for their effort,” said Campaign Manager Michael Gorecki. “John’s campaign continues to gain momentum and is well positioned to retire Elizabeth Warren in November. Massachusetts is ready for change and they see that in John.”

The campaign has collected signatures from all 14 counties and more than 265 cities and towns.

JOHN DEATON will fight for what is right.
